For more than two decades, across New Zealand, Australia, Berlin, Portugal, the UK, and Switzerland, coffee has been the constant for Ruth, the founder of Kosmos Coffee.
Coffee is the thing that connects, no matter the country or the language behind the counter. That's where the name comes from: Kosmos, the idea that everything has its place and is connected. Harmony, not chaos.
Whether it's the first thing you make in the morning, the pause in the middle of a long day, or the coffee you reach for without thinking — good coffee belongs in that moment, wherever you are.
That's why every blend has its own name and character, drawn from ritual, instinct, and story, each one its own small world in a bag.
I'm always learning, sourcing better, cupping new coffees, and finding new ways to bring that same feeling — of connection, of harmony — into your cup.
And while I take the coffee seriously, I don't take myself too seriously. Good coffee should still feel harmonious.
